The design language of cassette-tape components is adopted as the main design element for this collaboration. The overall look is a matte white base, decorated with unique details of the cassette tape.
Circular elements in a pop-of-color representative of neon color coding labels, the AGAINST LAB logo printed in typewriter font similar to that of label name stickers for cassette tapes, and subtle screw designs that can commonly be found on cassette tapes holding the
mechanism together, adorn the watch band. The loop of the watchband also has ‘side’ indication (A-SIDE) designs printed on it, further elevating the look. A clean ‘AGAINST’ label in bright pink is on the watch face, accompanied by a unique LED backlight logo representative of sound wave graphs, relating back to the influence of music on this watch collab. Finally, the whole concept is solidified with the AGAINST LAB ‘A’ logo, engraved on the case back for bold simplicity.
