PUMA, atmos and AGAINST LAB. come together to reimagine the Speedcat Plus through the culture of automotive customisation.

Rooted in PUMA’s motorsport heritage and inspired by the tuner culture of the late ’90s and early 2000s, "PROJECT: PLAID" looks at the way customised cars became more than just machines. From racing seats and plaid upholstery to harness webbing, contrast stitching and interior details, every element became a way for people to put their own identity into their ride.

That same idea of personal expression sits at the heart of the project.

The Speedcat Plus is reworked with a navy suede upper, woven plaid panel and textured Formstrip, bringing the look and feel of customised automotive interiors into a classic motorsport silhouette.

PUMA bringing its racing DNA, atmos its connection to sneaker and street culture and AGAINST LAB. its Malaysian perspective on customisation and individuality, "PROJECT: PLAID" brings three different worlds together through one shared language — cars, sneakers and the streets.

The PUMA x atmos x AGAINST LAB. “PROJECT: PLAID” Speedcat Plus makes its debut at an exclusive pop-up at BASE 3 Butler Garage, Kuala Lumpur on 26 September 2026. To mark the launch, an exclusive Gift With Purchase featuring a drawstring bag, blind box car badge and special collaboration zine will only be available at the event, while stocks last.
